 At a recent figure drawing session I thought I'd give contra-drawing a try. 

Well, I was less than pleased.  So, I decided to spruce it up a bit with collage.

I am taking a mental break from painting, but to keep my creativity up - I have been collage- ing. I got a huge dose of inspiration for this from Tesha Moore YouTube videos and a wonderful ETSY shop:Nannyems.

Last Friday I took over 2 dozen paintings to a local gallery for a collaborative show I have coming up. I thought I wanted to take a small break from painting, but I still had a powerful urge to create.

This last week I have butchered several editions of National Geographic, a vintage Atlas I found at the YMCA, and I broke out the stamp pads.
