Finished Collage: Be a Work of Art...

While I was finding just the perfect (purr-fect?) cat face for the collage I just finished I couldnt help but start a few more.  The pieces below are in progress and probably a ways from finishing. 

Vermont Doodles.

 Occasionally I get set on a theme. Seems like today the theme is Vermont.

I am lucky enough to have a life partner from Vermont. So, I gets to spend lots and lots of time in that frozen place. Despite all my best efforts, Vermont has really grown on me, despite its cold weather.

When I cant make myself paint, I try to make myself doodle or collage.

True Story: people are much more likely to buy a $16 dollar collage print than a $500 painting. So, I have put a fair bit of effort into creating collage work this year. All the sales basically fund my supply of painting materials.

2012 PAINTING REVIEW

I gotta say, its always tough to look back on my year of paintings. I always have the feeling that I still havent done the work I wanted to do. Here are several of the 2012 paintings. I couldn't quite find pictures of them all.  Most are oil on canvas and then there are the occasional watercolor.
